Romantic Outdoor Wedding
When I got asked if I wanted to photograph Blanca and Heiko's wedding in Alameda Garden, I was so excited – they were planning a romantic outdoor wedding at The Dell, live music, and lots of fun. Blanca and Heiko are the sweetest people with lots of great friends. I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!
The Excitement Before The Botanic Garden Wedding
I turned up at The Dell, when the morning sun was making a magic light. It was so relaxed start to the morning. Flora from Rock occasion and her team was making everything perfect. Blanca wore a beautiful white dress in lace with flower in her hair and Heiko wore a matching white blazer and black trousers and they looked so incredible.
The outdoor Ceremeny
The wedding took place in The Dell, Alameda Gardens and is a gorgeous setting for a wedding ceremony. They was surrounded all around them with flower and rows of happy guests, which made for a story telling wedding. The couple was shining with love and gave each other rings. After the ceremony, they had a dramatic first kiss and Heiko surprised Blanca with a love song to her, then with tears in her eyes they where showered with confetti.
THE PHOTOGRAPHY MOMENTS
It was a sunny day and with a magic felling in the air. I got on with taking pictures of all the guest and those happy feelings. While the guests enjoyed the garden, I whisked Blanca & Heiko away for a bit of time alone to get some photos of the two of them. They are the easiest people to spend time with. As we wandered and chatted I took photos of the two of them. My favorite photo from our couples session is in the field. The flower field had newly been planted and it looked amazing as a background for their wedding.
THE CONTINUING PARTY
Soon it was time for them to leave for continuing celebrating in Spain. Blanca and Heiko made it back to their guests with cheers and whoops and enjoyed a glass of champagne with their guests. It was a perfect ceremony and a lot of fun.
I finished and left the couple to enjoy their day with their friends when I made my way through Gibraltar I had the feeling I had been in a story telling Wedding.
